Support for Ukraine

Since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24, 2022, Volodymyr Nosov and WhiteBIT have donated over UAH 450 million of their own funds to support Ukraine and tens of thousands of food packages to support the civilian population. Part of the funds were donated to humanitarian organizations, volunteers and charities, including UNITED24, Serhiy Prytula's Charity Foundation, Tabletochki, the Rescue Now charity foundation and others. As a benefactor and president of a football club, he supports charitable initiatives of the Ukrainian Football Association.

“Today we are all on the same field and in the same team — the Ukrainian people, the army, business, the state, and international partners. And it's not just about protecting our home. If we stop, we will get evil and chaos instead of democratic rights and freedoms. Therefore, we must continue to fight for Ukraine's victory. In unity and with faith in a better future for the entire democratic world.”

Volodymyr Nosov

Support for civilians in Ukraine and assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine

Since the onset of Russia's full-scale war against Ukraine, Volodymyr Nosov has initiated extensive purchases of food and other essential goods for the suffering civilian populations in Kharkiv and the de-occupied areas of Donetsk, Chernihiv, Dnipro, Hostomel, and Bucha.
Volodymyr Nosov and WhiteBIT donated over UAH 11 million to help the victims of the Kakhovka HPP disaster in June 2023, which became one of the largest man-made disasters in the world.
In April 2024, Volodymyr Nosov supported the opening of the “NGO Space” Civil Society Center in Dnipro, which will facilitate the coordination of humanitarian aid, support for combat brigades, the military, and the victims.
Volodymyr's regular charitable activities include assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, targeted assistance to the military and individual units of the Armed Forces, paramedics and volunteers.

Support for cultural and sports initiatives

Volodymyr Nosov demonstrates significant social responsibility, personally and as part of WhiteBIT's activities, supporting cultural and sports initiatives in Ukraine even during the full-scale invasion.
In 2023, together with WhiteBIT, he took part in projects of the “Don’t Take Fake” team—specifically, the «Module of Temporality» and «Spectral Poetry» initiatives. The funds raised from these projects were donated to restore art institutions, monuments, and museums in Ukraine that were damaged during the war.

Partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to help Ukrainians from all over the world

Since April 2022, WhiteBIT, in close coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, has been implementing a set of measures to support Ukrainians around the world.
The company has provided an inclusive initiative for deaf Ukrainian citizens in Europe, created a 24/7 call center and chatbot to provide consultations, and donated seven sets of special technical equipment to provide emergency assistance to Ukrainians abroad.
WhiteBIT's interaction with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine proves that technology plays an important role in humanitarian projects, providing operational solutions in any situation.

Participation in charity auctions

Supporting charitable projects has become essential in the context of the war in Ukraine. Volodymyr Nosov is an active participant in charity auctions that address the specific needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
  • In June 2022, at a charity auction, Volodymyr Nosov purchased the crystal microphone of the “Eurovision 2022” winners, the Ukrainian band Kalush Orchestra, for a record-breaking $900,000. The proceeds were used to acquire a PD-2 drone system for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
  • In November 2022, Nosov purchased a 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow, once owned by Freddie Mercury, for £250,000 at Sotheby's. All proceeds from this auction were donated to establish a modern rehabilitation and prosthetics center called Superhumans.
  • In December 2023, at the Forbes Ukraine charity auction, Volodymyr Nosov purchased Mapex Saturn drums from the famous Ukrainian band Boombox for $400,000. The funds raised were allocated to acquire four UAVs for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
